Example 1: Single database
In this example DATPROF Subset is used to generate a subset from production.
DATPROF Subset is connected to the test system and will create a subset based on the source system.
Example 2: Chain of databases
This is a more complicated implementation of DATPROF Subset. In the center, DATPROF Subset is used to generate a consistent subset based on systems in a chain-concept. It will create testdatabases which can be used to chain-testing the application and systems. Testers can generate test specific subsets based on the already available chain-testsets. These test-specific subsets can be extremely usefull in specific application tests.
